Good Friday Walk of Witness and Service – 03rd April 2026
The 2026 Churches Together in Penwortham, Ecumenical Good Friday Walk of Witness and Church Service is being organised by our friends at St. Leonard’s Church, Marshalls Brow Penwortham on 03 April 2026. There will be a modest walk at 10:00am beginning and ending at the church and followed by Good Friday Worship at 11am. Click the icon on the left for the Poster.

All are welcome to a talk by a Representative of North West Blood Bikers -Lancs & Lakes about the voluntary work undertaken for the NHS by the bikers. Cost £4.00 with refreshments. For details click on the “poster” icon.

PENWORTHAM UNITED REFORMED CHURCH
Refreshments will normally be served after the services on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month; all are welcome to stay for fellowship and a chat.
Junior Church will normally be held on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month.
Parade Services with 5th Penwortham Scouts in term time will generally be on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Service details are posted on this page and in the “Activities” section.
